Just a few shots of us trick-or-treating last night. Quinn had a pretty good time this year. Jeremy stayed home and passed out candy as Grandma and I took Quinn out to our neighborhood’s flashlight parade. The parade is so much fun and attracts hundreds of kids from all over Philly. It gets a little hairy trying to trick-or-treat with a toddler on the busy houses along the route, but she did pretty well and held out for a long time with her buddy Evie. As we made our way to our first house, she seemed shy, so, I said trick-or-treat for her. When we walked away, she informed me, “I want to say trick-or-treat next time, Mommy!” Ha. OK, kid. Sorry. So she did. At every house. Her shy “twick-or-tweat” would peep out at she held up her little pumpkin bag. So sweet. And everyone loved her costume and commented how it was nice to finally have some sunshine after a whole week of cloudy skies and hurricanes. After she started to get a little overwhelmed on the busier streets, we headed to our block that was a bit more manageable. She made her way to all our neighbor’s houses and then we came back to help pass out candy to all the older kids that came by later. Then, we basically passed out in a sugar-induced coma.
