This morning, Quinn and I took a long walk together on Forbidden Drive, down by the Wissahickon Creek. We walked a couple of miles, said “hi” to runners and dogs as they passed us, threw rocks in the creek, collected sticks, fed the ducks and geese, ate snacks, looked at waterfalls, crossed the covered bridge, talked about horse poop and even came across a wedding.  She was obsessed with the wedding. I had to drag her away.
It was a simple, wonderful morning with my favorite girl at one of my favorite places in the world.
