I just wanted to take a minute to thank everyone for all of your well-wishes and good thoughts over the past few days. It’s been a crazy ride and I can’t wait to tell the story about how Ruby was born.
When they say 2nd babies come faster, they aren’t kidding. But, I digress.
For now, I just need to figure out what day it is and how to navigate life with a newborn/three-year old/aching and recovering body and no sleep.
Good times. We’ll figure it out.
So, excuse me while I infiltrate this blog with photos for a few days. I mean, you thought I posted a lot of photos when I had one kid…now I just feel sorry for you guys. I can’t stop taking pictures.
Since I’ve been blowing up my instagram and Facebook for the past few days with photos, I thought I would share a few here from Baby Roo’s past few days.
This was about an hour after she was born.
I’m dying over her teeny fingers and toes.
The view from our room on the day Ruby was born. It was a beautiful day.
Meeting her insanely proud big sister.
Meeting Mia, Emi, Lori and Baby Seth (who at 2 months old, now looks like a 2 year old compared to Ruby!)
Waiting to be discharged in her “Heading Home” outfit.
She’s swimming in her newborn clothes.
Ready to head home!
First car ride. Unimpressed.
Pretty much, the best photo I have ever taken in my life.
